Surf, sun, sand and sea. What more could you ask for?
Sometime in 2009 I had the opportunity to visit the island paradise of Krabi, in the Land of Smiles, Thailand. Admittedly, prior to this, I had another life. A life where I didn't travel, didn't dance and didn't shoot photos. Therefore this Krabi trip was sometime not long after the end of that life. Frankly, I was a little apprehensive about travelling. Thankfully, everything turned out just fine.
You know how everytime you come back from a holiday, you got hundreds of photos to edit, and after getting hit by the reality-bus, you totally forget about the shots you took? This is what happened here. Somehow I was reminded about the pictures in the most nostalgic way. When I was in Krabi, I brought the Canon EOS 1000D and the Tamron SP 24-135mm with me. Subsequently, this camera was sold to a dear friend of mine. That friend returned from Krabi not too long ago, where he brought the SAME 1000D which I sold to him. Only after seeing his photos was I reminded about my own. It kinda helped that the photos were taken at the same location as my own.
Have a look and do tell me what you think about my humble photos, taken of course with the ever-dependable 1000D.
