Happily Ever After: Eve Tan & Daniel Low [18-3-2012]

You know what? It's actually been awhile since I've had the oppotunity to post under the the 'Happily Ever After' series. I've always loved to shoot weddings and I truly am looking forward to more projects towards the middle of 2012.

Anyways, my first Happily Ever After of 2012 goes to a long-time salsa friend, the beautiful Eve Tan. I've known her from my very first days of salsa, although she did start way before I did. In Daniel, Eve has met a kindred spirit, who shares her passion for dancing. I hope to continue to see you 2 lovebirds on the dance floor long after the festivities!

Next up... Melanie and Rajah!

Peranakan Convention 2011 - Penang (Part 1)

This year's Annual Peranakan Convention was held at the Tanjung Bungah Resort from Friday, 25th November 2011, to Sunday, 27th November 2011.

First things first, my apologies for releasing these few photos more than 3 months after the said event. After I got back from the event in late November 2011, I was immediately swamped with a mountain of work + many, many new photography projects. I'm blessed in that sense, but it was also the craziest time for me, in a long, long while. Oh well, better late than never!
Unfortunately, due to work committments, I was only able to start the gruelling drive from Kuala Lumpur to Penang Island after working hours on Friday night, 25th November. Considering that the drive takes approximately 4 1/2 hours, the word 'gruelling' is an understatement. My travel mates - I couldn't ask for better - Michael Soon and Emily Chua, themselves full-blooded Baba and Nyonya respectively (compared to my paltry 1/4 lineage).

I actually did not manage to take as many pictures as I initially intended since I was rather caught up with the festivities of the entire event!

This first set of a few of my humble photos takes place on the morning of the Second Day of the Conference (the reason being I could only set out for Penang on Friday night, thus missing the First Day).

Please click on the pictures below for a larger view of the event!
