The greatest love story which spans the South China Sea, from the West to the East of Bolehland, continues, right here, in Selayang, Kuala Lumpur.
Most likely as a result of our prudish Asian conservative culture, eloping and getting married in Vegas was probably not on the cards. Therefore, opting for a more conventional approach at the Asian institution of marriage, our Hero and Heroine decides to hold 2 Grand Celebrations: One in KL (Heroine's hometown) and another in Miri (Hero's hometown), as an official announcement to family and friends of their nuptials. Of course, most of us are there just to make sure Leo gets royally smashed. But not me of course. I'm there to document and observe the event in pictures. And to not let them forget it in the years to come...
Your friendly neighbourhood protaganist (thats me!) has been invited to join in on the festivities NOT as a guest, but in the most honorable capacity of helper. We always said if any of us get married, we're not going to be invited to dine and relax. We'd be helping out with the proceedings. We did the same for Sharie when she got married. Pity I didn't have a camera in-hand then. Then there would be a shot of me in a baju melayu.
I took 307 photos that night, and more than half of that is usable. Good for me. However, many of those were group-y shots. And while I will happily give the same to my dearest married friend, keeping in line with Dom-o-graphy, here are some of my favourite portraits that night. If you don't think they're good, you can let me know. Or you can bugger off. Whichever is more suitable for you.
