Welcome to the Havana Estudio Monthly Beginner Social!
Many beginner dancers are reluctant to go out dancing, not so much because of the dance itself, but more of the fact that it is intimidating when you know so little moves and routines compared to the other senior dancers. Sam recognized this phenomena and decided to do something about it, hence the Monthly Beginner Social. Only Beginner and Improver level students are allowed to participate. Inermediate students are NOT ALLOWED in!
Through Sam's enthusiasm and support from his students the Monthly Beginner Socials have been very successful, not only in terms of numbers but more importantly, the beginners are shaking of their reservations in dancing and just hitting the dance floors! In this respect, Sam is successfully building up his principle in that salsa is a social dance.
