On the
morning of Saturday 2nd June 2012, Randev, Viktorija and myself made
out to the Automobile Museum in Melaka to witness a simple handing-over
ceremony of a vintage Austin Morris Minor 1959 to the Museum Authorities. You
see, this old gem was formerly owned by Emily’s father, the late Mr. Robin Chua
and unlike most of the exhibits in the Museum, Emily made the magnanimous
decision to donate the ‘Old Bone Shaker’ (as it was affectionately called by
Emily’s father) instead of merely lending the same to the Museum.
Obviously
this decision did not come lightly but in the end, Emily’s generous decision
ensured that her late father’s legacy continues in best way possible, to be
viewed and enjoyed by generations to come.
Of course, we took this chance for a spot of pictures...
